Qualifications &
Approach
The name Vikasa (vikāsa, Sanskrit) means “flourishing,” “expansion,” and “inner transformation.” That is exactly my intention: fostering change from within — enabling the full development of potential, both for individuals and for organizations. Stress, burnout, and their consequences are among the greatest challenges facing people and businesses today.
Vikasa brings together leadership and management expertise with proven methods for stress management and burnout prevention. By integrating coaching, yoga, and Ayurveda, I offer a holistic approach that helps individuals and companies strengthen resilience and create sustainable growth.

My journey toward the work I do today began over 16 years ago — long before burnout became a widely discussed topic. At that time, I was struck by an unexplained exhaustion. Chronic symptoms followed, including irritable bowel syndrome and a missing menstrual cycle. If it had happened today, I likely would have been advised to start therapy. But back then, there were no answers — only countless doctor’s appointments and unsuccessful diets.
This feeling of “not knowing what to do next” led me to take matters into my own hands. Without fully understanding why, I sensed that yoga was helping me. I began a teacher training — initially just for myself. And then something clicked: the nervous system. The nervous system was the reason I felt so unwell and the connection between my different symptoms.
Suddenly, everything made sense. Why had no one ever explained this to me?
That moment of realization became the starting point of my journey. Further trainings followed — from Yoga Nidra to Hormone Yoga, as well as certification as an Ayurvedic Health Consultant. I learned how closely the body, mind, and nervous system are interconnected. For years, I used these methods to stay healthy while working in the high-pressure creative industry.
When I stepped into a leadership role, my perspective shifted. I began to see the same patterns and challenges in my team. Even more clearly, I recognized how individual and organizational factors interact and contribute to stress.
My curiosity continued to grow, along with my desire to help in a more focused way. Alongside my leadership role, I completed further training in coaching, facilitation, change management, and mental health first aid. In 2024, I founded a Berlin-based support group for people affected by burnout within the German Association for Burnout and Depression (Bundesverband für Burnout und Depression e.V.), which I have led ever since.
Today, I bring all of these experiences together: my personal story, my background as a leader, and my in-depth knowledge of stress and burnout. My goal is to support individuals and organizations in understanding stress from a holistic perspective and in finding ways to live — and work — in a healthy and sustainable way.
