LIVING INDIAN

TRADITION

YOGA & AYURVEDA

RETREATS
IN PORTUGAL

Experience Ayurveda in its original form

with Ayurvedic therapists from India –

in four retreats in the Algarve.

June 18 – August 5, 2026 – 10 days each

At our retreats, we invite you to experience Ayurvedic treatments in their traditional form—accompanied by therapists from India, for whom this knowledge has been part of their lives for generations.

At the heart of each 10-day retreat are 90 minutes of individually tailored Ayurvedic treatments, complemented by regular yoga practice, breathing exercises, meditation, and time for conscious retreat.

The retreat location is nestled in the mountains of the Algarve—a spacious, peaceful place with views of the countryside. Surrounded by nature, with space for silence, movement, and relaxation, an atmosphere is created here that supports deep regeneration and inner clarity. The vastness, light, and nourishing tranquility of this place invite you to fully arrive in your own process.

10 days
Ayurvedic
Guidance

During the ten days of the retreat, you will receive daily personalized Ayurvedic treatments performed by traditional therapists from India who have been trained in classical Ayurvedic teachings.

The treatments include Abhyanga (full-body oil massage), Pinda Sweda (herbal stamp treatment), and Shirodhara (forehead oil treatment). The type, duration, and sequence of the treatments follow the classical Ayurvedic tradition and are finely tuned over the course of the days.

In addition, a regenerative, mindful yoga practice supports the treatment process. Yoga, breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation (dhyana), and conscious rest periods complement Ayurvedic therapy and create space for integration, stabilization, and lasting regeneration.

Team

We – Gabriele, Julia and Linda – are three yoga teachers who have been travelling regularly to India for many years to experience Ayurveda in its original form. These trips have shaped our own practice – as well as our desire to make this depth and authenticity accessible in Europe.

Sani and Sathi come from a traditional Ayurvedic family in Kerala. They grew up with this healing art, learned it from an early age and practised it for many years in India. For them, Ayurveda is not a learned concept, but a living tradition passed down from generation to generation.

Out of a shared desire to make this original form of Ayurveda accessible to people who cannot or do not wish to travel to India, the idea arose to invite Sani and Sathi to Europe. In our retreats, their Ayurvedic practice is combined with our yogic guidance – supported by mutual trust, respect and a shared attitude.

The yoga practices, treatments and medicine were very
profound, and I look forward to seeing how the benefits
unfold in my day-to-day life.

I am feeling so much clarity, aliveness and deep rejuvenation.
